Our invoices aren't itemized like other shops. Each one is a STORY. "Your brake pads were at 3mm. Brand new is 7-8mm. Your rotors were fine so we resurfaced them. A real hot-fluid flush (not the spray-and-blow kind)
Honda, GM, and Ford require their dealerships to own a hot-fluid flusher before they'll honor transmission warranties. We have the same machine. Most shops don't. When they tell you they "flushed" your transmission with chemical and an air gun, they did NOT flush it. They sprayed something. That's not the same.
Warranty that means something
We tell you the truth on warranty. Electrical parts get 90 days because that's the real warranty. Used parts get NONE because you saved money choosing them. Jasper rebuilds get 24 months / unlimited miles because Jasper backs it. Most shops slap "12/12 every part" on the bottom of every invoice — but that's not the truth. We don't lie to you.
We never surprise you with a bill
Halfway through your job, if we find something we didn't expect, you get a call BEFORE the bay clock keeps running. "Hey, we hit something — need 2 more hours at $150/hr. Want me to keep going?" You say yes or no. We don't go over without your say-so. We don't give you a number we don't know yet. Written estimates are always RANGES, never fixed numbers — because "if it's in writing, it's the law."

📜 Real case study — the 10R80 nobody could fix
Customer brought us a 2021 Ford F-150 with the 10-speed 10R80 transmission. Four other shops in town had already turned the job away because the 10R80 is too new — they hadn't been trained. The 4th shop quoted $10,000 to swap the whole transmission. Customer drove 35 miles to us. Mike had just flown back from a 10R80 class in Las Vegas. Diagnosed it. Fixed it. $1,400.
